Daniela is a senior Human Resources professional with the experience both in leading of HR teams in international corporations as well as in consulting companies. She focuses mainly on HR areas of Reward, Employee Benefits, Talent Management and Learning & Development. She is interested in Agile – agile transformation of the company and implementing agile HR practices.

Daniela has been working in HR for more than 20 years. Last few years she has shared her experience and knowledge with students at the University of Economics in Prague.

To stay in contact with the reality she cooperates with several businesses in the area of HR consulting and HR Business partnering.

Zuzana Chytkova is an assistant professor at the Department of Marketing at the Prague University of Economics and Business, founder and executive director of Center for social marketing, and a member of the Center for work research at VSE.  She is an experienced lecturer and researcher. In her teaching, she focuses on consumer behaviour, qualitative research methods and social marketing (marketing techniques applied to tackle social issues). In her research, she focuses on the symbolic and socio-historical aspects of consumer behaviour and newly also on the consumption of space in coworking centres. She has participated in multiple academic and non-academic research projects both nationally and internationally.

Chengguang Li is an Assistant Professor of International Business at the Ivey Business School and a guest lecturer at VSE. Prior to joining Ivey, he was a postdoctoral fellow and project leader for the Industry 4.0 initiative of the German Federal Ministry (BMBF) and a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and Roland Berger in Berlin, Munich, and Dubai. His research focuses on the impact of contextual factors, such as the cultural environment, on multinational enterprise activities and has appeared in Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, and Harvard Business Review. He graduated with a doctoral degree in management from the Technical University of Munich, a Master of Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science from the Nanyang Technological University, and a bachelor’s degree from the Technical University of Berlin.

Petr is an Assistant Professor at VSE at the Department of Logistics. He specializes in supply chain management covering demand planning, material planning and management, supply chain design, and warehousing in combination with disruptive technologies of Industry 4.0 for instance additive manufacturing and dynamic simulation. Petr is an experienced lecturer, business consultant, and practitioner in the abovementioned areas. Petr has been a team member in several research projects associated with Logistics and Industry 4.0 funded by Technology Agency of the Czech Republic for instance: Readiness of city logistics for growth of e-commerce sector in the area of Smart Cities or Smart system for collection of municipal waste in Smart city.

He has worked in the field for 15 years.

Miroslav is the Head of the Marketing Department and Vice-Dean for Corporate Relations and PR of the Faculty of Business Administration VŠE. His primary research interest includes strategic marketing, market orientation, role of marketing in companies, and arts marketing. He gained valuable experience during the semester-long research stay at HEC School of Management in France. Further, he gained practical experience working at Ogilvy Public Relations, and during internships at the marketing department of EPSON in the United States and the export department of BOSCH in Germany.

He has worked in the field for 18 years. Among others, Miroslav is currently working on the research project „Customer Lifetime Value in the Environment of Cultural Institutions“, which is focused on the development of a software application for cultural institutions from the classical music field.

Dr Efthymia Kottika is Assistant Professor at VSE and she specializes in strategic marketing management (market and entrepreneurial orientation of Small-Medium sized Enterprises and market driving organizations) and global digital marketing phenomena (social media storms and consumer empowerment). Her research has been published in leading journals such as the Industrial Marketing Management, the Journal of Business Research and the International Journal of Tourism Research. Moreover, her work has been included in the proceedings of international conferences with a peer-reviewed system of renowned scientific bodies such as the: American Marketing Association (AMA) Global Marketing SIG, Academy of Management (AOM), European Academy of Management (EURAM), European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) and European Marketing Academy (EMAC), to name a few. She has worked as an academic and researcher in three countries (Greece, United Kingdom and the Czech Republic) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK. Throughout her career, she has been nominated for and/or awarded several teaching and research awards and scholarships. As a full-time academic she has worked for over 4 years.

As a team member, she has participated in “Preparation of Value Network for SME’s (VNV4C) in V4 Countries in Automotive and Vehicle Industry” project supported by the Visegrad Fund and “Exploration of the Attitudes of University Students Towards Environmentally Friendly Cars and Auto Companies” (2020) Market Research Project for ŠKODA AUTO. As a principal investigator, she has also participated in the “Value Networks in the Automotive Industry” (2020-2022) project supported by the Internal Grants for Employees (IGA2) at VSE.

Dušan is an experienced manager and lecturer. After his managerial practice in international companies, he works last years as a lecturer and head of Centre for Business Ethics. As chair of ethical committees of two scientific institutions, he focuses on ethical dilemmas on workplace and treatment of personal crises of managers. He worked ten years as a coordinator of an international MBA program and offers seminars and coaching for young managers in selected companies. His last published studies are about managerial spirituality, ethical challenges of Artificial Intelligence and conflicts between words and pictures in marketing.

He has worked in the field for 6 years. After his activity as an editor in publishing house, he worked as a manager 15 years (IBS expert, ŠKODA Auto, NGO/PasserinvestGroup). He was a coordinator of HR development and executive education. Today he is an active member of the steering committee of UN PRME for Central and East Europe.

Ondřej is an associate professor at the Department of Strategy. He is a member and co-founder of the Center for Family Businesses and member of the Ethical committee for research at the Faculty of Business Administration. His main teaching interests include mathematics, corporate finance, and statistical methods for research. He studied business administration at the Prague University of Economics and Business, computer science and engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, and mathematics at the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen.

Ondřej has worked in the field for 8 years. He also cooperated with RWE GasNet (nowadays just GasNet) in a project related to natural gas distribution in the Czech Republic. He is active at the Center for Family Businesses where he is responsible for family business research.

Financial mathematics

The development of his career covers process excellence in two areas: Lean Management and Organisational Design. The research in Lean Management explores the creation of a leanness measurement system (Lean Index) and its applicability. He also researches lean in the framework of Industry 4.0. The research in Organisational Design focuses on the Procedures to set up the organisational structure. His PhD presents more than 10 years of work on this topic. He is an Industrial Engineer (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá) and PhD in management (Prague University of Economics and Business). He has worked in the field for 20 years with work experience in Colombia, India and the Czech Republic.

He is in constant cooperation with firms in the development of specific projects in the area of process improvement and operations management. He has lately submitted a project to enhance the learning experience of operations management with virtual reality.

Anthony has set up or helped to set up more than a dozen companies. His management experience covers a small high-growth company as well as heading a corporate division. Anthony is a proud member of the Department of Management and chairs the Centre for Evidence-Based Management. He focuses on evidence-based management and practical ethics, drawing his expertise from various kinds of postgraduate level courses at the University of Cambridge, Prague University of Economics and Business, London School of Economics and Political Science and University of Oxford.

Anthony has worked in the field of management for over 25 years. He has been a consultant in management and change in diverse portfolio of projects for CEZ, Petrofac, ARM, Vodafone, O2, Teplarny Brno, Vychodoslovenska Energetika, Nordic Telecom, etc.

Active memberships: Academy of Management, The Society for Judgment and Decision Making, Czech Skeptical Club SISYFOS, The Karel Capek Center for Values in Science and Technology.

Ladislav is an experienced lecturer, business consultant, and practitioner. He focuses on strategy and strategy related topics. Besides being the Academic Director of the BBA programme, he is also the academic director of the university’s flagship programme CEMS – Master in International Management, and Deputy Head of Department of Strategy. He is passionate about designing strategies and navigating companies in the wild water of future megatrends and uncertainties.

He has worked in the field for more than 11 years. He is also a receiver of the inaugural CEMS Philippe Louvet Innovation Award along with a grant of 20,000 Euros which enables the VSE to implement a new capstone course entitled “Lateral Collaboration in the Age of Exponential Change and Disruption”. Together with his colleague from the Department of Strategy he has co-written two case studies published by Ivey Publishing; “Debito Technologies: Taking a debt management app abroad“ and “Behavio Labs: Scaling Survey Software into a Global Product”.
