Liza (Ukraine)
Hi, everyone! My name is Liza and I am a proud ambassador of the Prague University of Economics and Business. Currently I am a 20-year-old Ukrainian student in the BBA program, and I absolutely adore it! Since my first day in Czech Republic, this country has fascinated me tremendously and continues to do so till this day!
I have always aimed for getting the most out of life and just studying alone wouldn’t be enough for me — that is why I joined the VŠE ambassador board. VŠE is such a marvelous school, and I was thrilled to start studying here. I love challenging myself, and helping people is my passion. My goal is to maintain a friendly and safe environment at our university. My main hobbies include weightlifting, creating videos, psychology, and, of course, managing business projects! I speak Ukrainian, English, and Czech, so feel free to reach me out and I will try my best to make your university journey smoother!
Sasha (Georgia)
Ahoy! My name is Aleksandre (people sometimes address me as Sasha). I’m a third-year BBA student at VŠE from Georgia. I’ve always wanted these two things: come back to Prague and study abroad. So, I fused these two together and came here, which is a fact that gets more and more bewildering the more time passes here. I chose VŠE because of multitude of reasons, but mainly the high study quality in the area and high student satisfaction. Later I found out I could become one of the ambassadors of my university and I gladly applied. I’ll be more than willing to assist students with any kind of help I can provide, since I’ve gathered so many dos and don’ts as a foreign student myself. While I’m a business student and spend a lot of time studying about my specialty, I indulge in hobbies which allow me to connect to people outside of this sphere with widely different interests such as tech-enthusiasts or artsy people (including drama/film kids, since I also had my fair share on stage and behind the camera in school) just to bring an example or two. I’d also like to note that there are very cool CD and vinyl shops all over Prague and you can also find all sorts of places catering towards your passion(s) – mine would also be appreciating the castles, cathedrals and buildings built in Gothic, Baroque or Rococo style, or the cat cafes housing adorable cats.
Vivi (Vietnam)
Hi everyone! My name is Vi, but I’d love for you to call me Vivi xD. I’m from Vietnam, located in Southeast Asia. There are quite a lot of Vietnamese people here in the Czech Republic, so I hope you’ve heard of my country before or at least tried some Vietnamese food!
I’m a third-year Business Administration student. If you have any questions about the Czech Republic, my program, or if you just want some recommendations for Vietnamese food, don’t hesitate to reach out to me 😊
Yara (Dominican Republic)
Hi! My Name is Yara and I am from the Dominican Republic, currently studying Business Administration at VŠE.
I have always known I wanted to continue my studies outsides of the Dominican Republic, so I made the decision to move to Prague. The main reasons I chose VŠE were its international environment and its practical focus on business education, and it has truly been the best decision I’ve made.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy being active, few months ago I started running, and I occasionally go bouldering, hiking and attend indoor cycling sessions. I am also artistic, I like to draw and do pottery which I love doing, this helps me manage stress and keeps me balanced.
As an ambassador, I would like to create a safe space and a welcoming community to help new students adapt to their new environment and feel at ease. I speak English, Spanish and Arabic, which helps me connect with people from different cultural backgrounds on a deeper level.
I would love to share my experiences, so if you feel you might relate to my journey or share similar interests, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to connect and support you in any way I can.
